Slice of Life

Today at 9:30 when I was in science we had a fire drill, in the middle of no where you can hear the fire alarms going off. And we had to shut the lights off, and evacuate the building as quickly as possible. The fire department wanted us out of the building at least under 3 minutes. We quickly left the building through the main entrance and I turned around and all I see is kids rushing out through everywhere. Once we got outside we had crossed the street when we weren’t supposed to so we turned around and crossed the street again. We went to the sidewalk and we had to wait until the fire department told us we could go back in the building. I was already used to it, because I was in Emerson since kindergarten and they do the same thing every year.

Digital Citizenship

Now that I can post things and have the privilege to post things I am very excited to share my life with everyone one. I will use it respectfully and responsibly. I am very glad I got the privilege to blog because I love blogging and letting everyone know how my life is going. I use Blogger responsibly because if I didn’t my privileges would be gone. I like blogging because it’s like journaling but you get to share it with everyone. Imagine the whole world reading your posts, and your only one person. It’s pretty coool if you think about it.

Hurricane Irma

Hurricane Irma was on from August 30th - September 12. It affected many including Cuba, Florida, Bahamas, Caribbean, Turks and Caicos islands, Guadeloupe, Havana, Saint Martin, United States Virgin Islands, Miami-Dade county Florida, Barbuda, Greater Antilles, Indian River County, Leeward Islands, Southeastern USA, Eastern USA. And hurricane Maria is following Irma's path and getting stronger. As of Sunday at 11p.m., Maria was about 100 miles northeast of Barbados.

We Movement

The assembly last week was pretty cool. The guy named Reegie came and talked about different kids childhoods and what they went through in life. It was very heart touching and I really liked him because he let us play a little game that made us move around and then at the end we had to know where we were sitting at, at the beginning. He also talked about another kid who's parents had passed away and his older brother became his dad. And how we could help others and change the world. There is also a meeting today for people who want to join the WE Movement, and I want to go.
